Done! (again)
After handing in the master’s thesis 1 month ago, it was time for the follow-up oral exam yesterday. Struggling a bit with motivation to study , I only managed to force myself to re-read our thesis Thursday night. But - as always to date - this tactic worked once again. For some reason I manage to really focus when exams are close, and it ended up being an interesting discussion more than an exam. The 3 of us (we had written the thesis together) were on form and it all went well. The following lunch in the sun of Lucerne, on the first proper Spring day of the season, was a pleasure.
And today the “partying” continued: Werner & I treated ourselves to an extended brunch at one of our favourite Basel cafes - again in the sun (24C in Basel today) - and then we continued on with a 2 hour walk through the fields “behind” Basel. It was a very chilled-out and long day (in the positive sense). Now if Spring only decided to stay…
